Frank D. Kohn, M.A. P.A.
Frank Kohn, MA, LMHC, CCMHC has provided Mental Health Counseling and Consultation services in Lee County since 1978. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Georgia and his Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from Appalachian State University. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida, a National Board Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Frank is retired adjunct Professor at Florida Southwester n State College having taught Psychology classes and courses in Human Growth and Development. He provides counseling and psychotherapy services to adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. His many years of experience and education have allowed him to specialize in numerous areas which include Couples and Family Therapy, Substance Abuse, Bipolar Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Depression and Anxiety, and many others. Frank is also trained in hypnosis for self improvement, relaxation and smoking cessation. Not only does Frank work in providing psychotherapy for Mental Health Issues, he also provides professional services in personal coaching. Frank utilizes a personal approach to counseling in that each individual is unique and has their own personal assets. Treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Strategic Therapy, Problem Focused Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Metaphorical Therapy .
